The company began with fresh shiitake mushrooms and expanded its offerings in 1995 to include mushrooms from China and local sources. By 1998, they became the first Canadian business to regularly import fresh mushrooms from China via ocean shipment. In 2001, they opened an office in China to improve supplier relationships and diversify their product range, now featuring imported fruits and vegetables. Organic shiitake mushrooms are still produced at their Vancouver facility.
