Noida, India: A historic step towards fostering international cultural collaboration was taken with the launch of the Indo-Jamaica Film and Cultural Forum at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. The forum was inaugurated by H.E. Jason Keats Hall, High Commissioner of Jamaica to India, during the 122nd AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films, an iconic platform for promoting creative arts and storytelling.
The Indo-Jamaica Film and Cultural Forum is envisioned as a platform to strengthen ties between the two nations through the mediums of film, art, and culture. Speaking at the event, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), stated, “The idea is to develop and promote relationships between the people of India and Jamaica through the universal language of art and culture.”
