A load cell is a type of force transducer that converts pressure, compression, tension, or torque changes into measurable electrical signals. You can get the weight of an object based on changes in electrical signals. There are many different load cells, but strain gauge loads dominate the weighing industry. However, there are other types of load cells which are very important for the working of truck scales. These are hydraulic load cells, pneumatic load cells, strain gauge load cells (as mentioned above), piezoresistive load cells, inductive and reluctance load cells, and magnetostrictive load cells. Before you know your Commercial truck scales, you must know your load cells. For more details please visit https://apolloscales.com/ or call (888) 394-5006
